Thumbs up Visual difference between AP1 / AP2 transmissions?

Hi,

I tried searching a bit, but couldn't find anything. Is there a way to look at the transmission and know if it's an AP1 or AP2 version?

I just bought the AP2 trans and already had it installed, but I didn't get a chance to check if it was the same as my AP1. Is there any definitive way of saying that this is positively an AP2 trans I bought?

Thanks!

The original output shaft flange has larger bolt holes, but that can be easily swapped.

They also have a VIN tag riveted to the bellhousing. If it says JHMAP2.. It's a AP2.
