If youre going to go through the trouble of doing all that... might as well put something better in!

NSX motor is setup for a FWD car, but it sits in the middle of the NSX.

Yeah NSX is basically a FWD engine since it simply moves the engine and drive wheels to the back of the car.

as previously said, its setup for basicaly FWD (has motor mounts in the wrong location for a FR setup like the s2k) but it also spins the wrong direction. you'd have 6 reverse gears and 1 forward gear, even if you got it to bolt up and run.

The term you guys are looking for is "transverse mounted" or east-west (as opposed to longitudinal or north-south).

The VQ engine is fairly small, but I don't think the frame is wide enough where the tranny mounts up to the motor for the VQ. I think the VQ is shorter than the F20c, but wider...

The VQ is a sweet motor, though the design isn't as nice as the F20C. I think there will be alot of monster VQ's out and about very shortly. The VQ costs less than an F20C also.

Hah, I already swapped the VQ35DE into my car! I was going to surprise everyone tomorrow when I took pics (just got it done last week). It's not really that hard when you have an experienced welder to fab up some interesting motor bracing/mounts. The frame is BARELY wide enough. The shifter sits a little weird, but it's been fun. Lovin that throaty exhaust!

Nissans are just better than Hondas when it comes to motors. I mean, they can use it in the Nissan Quest and all those platforms....just amazing.

Also, fresh F20C1 + tranny for sale in FL! Took me 3,000 miles to get tired of that anemic thing.
