why are you typing in all caps?

my vsa light came on and off intermittenly and it was because my front brakepads were getting low. but it can something else in your case.

VSA is "Vehicel Stability Assist" (traction control). and i dont think you have an 05..i believe 06 is when the VSA came on the car.

That's a great tone when asking for help. I believe everyone who responded had been very informative. Don't tell us your 2005 has VSA when it doesn't. I believe the misunderstanding is on your part here.

The royal navy blue was also never released in N. America, so it's either a custom color, or you're wrong again. If you're referring to Laguna Blue Pearl, that color came out in 2006. And if you do have a Laguna Blue, your car might have been purchased in 2005, but it was a 2006 model. Thus, leading us to the beginning by reviewing f23's suggestion.

Here's a color comparison for you:

.....

youve had the car for 1 month. and you are arguing with people who are knowledgable and have owned multiple s2000 (myself 2) and trying to help.

e-brake light on means your e-brake is up or since your brake pads are so low, your car thinks that you are low on brake fluid. pop the hood and check your fluid. if your fluid is low check your brake pads. getting new pads will increase the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir.

VSA works in direct conjunction with you brake system and the ECU..so if your brake light is on, then the system thinks theres a fault; hence throwing the VSA light and check engine light on.
