Default VSA light stays on

So I have a 2006 S2000 and yesterday my VSA and traction light came on and they stay on, but every time I turn the car off they go away, but eventually turn on again. My check engine light is also on, but I think that is from my test pipe (it always comes and goes)

Anyway, I was wondering what the issue was. I have read on the forum to check the brake fluid cause it may be low, but mine is full. So I don't know what to do. Should change my brake fluid? I haven't done that since I got my car.

EDIT:
my car is also non-staggered now, would that mess with computer?

These are the lights I am talking about (not my picture)

Pull the code. Could be accelerator pedal position sensor.

Since you used my picture, I can tell you the problem I had, and how I fixed. it.

It had a lot to do with a 4th brake light that I put under the rear bumper because I wired it with my tail lights. The VSA light didn't come on until I drove with the headlights on for abut 3-4 miles. If my headlights were off, the light would not come on. Everytime the VSA light came on, I couldn't use the Cruise Control. Took it to Honda and was told that a new VSA modulator needs to be put in ($1500)

I disconnected the fourth brake light, and VOILA! Problem solved. So if you have ANY type of LED light hooked up to the rear of the car, that should be the problem.

Hope it helps. Good luck!

So...if I changed the back up lights, license plate light and trunk light to LEDs I would get the VSA light on all the time???

Or are you talking about additional LED lights?

I have a 06 and when that light came on for the first couple of times it would drive fine so I though nothing of it, after 2 weeks or so it came on again but this time the car had no power....It could not go over 60mph. It turned out it was my app sensor, I got that swapped and it drove fine and light didnt turn on anymore

If it comes back, check your brake fluid level in addition to making sure the float inside the reservoir is in working order. You could also check each one of the ABS sensors for debris.

And make sure your tire pressure is good.

A low tire would rotate faster than the one one on the opposite side from it. (as with less air it's a smaller diameter) The VSA reads the tire rotation from the ABS sensors on each wheel so one wheel turning at a different speed could trip the light.

Easy to check and and rule this out as the cause.
