Default VSA PROBLEM IN MY NEW S2K

hey guys ,
first of all im yaron from israel .. had drived a heavily moded impreza till yestarday and from today's morning ive got a new 2007 s2k jdm ...
but the probs are soon to come .. i just drove it today for my first 180 km and now when i turn on the car ive got the "VSA" light turned on next to the triangle ! and i cant turn it off no matter what i do ...
how can i already have a prob with it ? what could possibly happen ? i havent passed 5k rpm yet (although i did go sideways a bit today) and i turned the vsa off today everytime (although its always activated when u start the car)..

i geuss its some kind of malufacture with the vsa.. what could be the problem ?how can i fix it ?
can i drive with for the weekend ..? who needs this vsa anywayz ...

First off congrats on a new car. I just recently got one too.

When you first start the car the VSA light should be off by default which means its working. That is straight from the manual.

Now to turn it on off I quickly realized that I to hold down the button for couple of seconds swithches on/off. At first I thought I would just have to quickly press the button but then i realized i have to hold mine for like 2 seconds to go on/off.

Assuming you tried all that then I would just take it back to the dealer. It should go off and you do want everything to be working right at least when you first get the car.

hes talking about the "VSA" indication....not the "!". you would only get the triangle ! indication when vsa is being activated. the "VSA" indication is letting you know that there is a problem with the vsa system, and the ecu discovered it. definitley take it into the dealer, this could turn out to be a headache with sensors.
