Car is a MY07 DBW model. I have had a number of issues with VTEC since I bought the car in May last year.
First was a reappearing check engine light P0369 code everytime i entered high rev range - new camshaft position sensor fitted
Two months later check engine light when in higher rev range - various codes - Honda updated software (not sure exactly what but will be finding out from them shortly)
Now the issue is there is no VTEC engagement at all.
Honda have checked VTEC solenoid / oil pressures / electrical system and found no issues.
So the car is going back into them for further investigation which could involve removing head and checking for mechanical issues inside engine.

I would be glad for any ideas as at the moment it is stumping local Honda technician and could cost me a pretty penny for them to start removing the head.
