Default Vtech Smoke

Anyone ever experienced smoke from exhaust when in peak redline(Vtech)? Dosent happen in any other range, just when the vtech kicks in. I dusted this HB the other day and he pulled up claiming there was alot of "Vtech smoke" coming out of the car. He claims his other HB did that, but still ran 13's. Is it something Vital? Car runs fine. Any info would be great. Links, Ect. Keep it clean. Thanks guys.

Damn....

Mine has "Vtech smoke" too I'd say 9k rpm WOT runs producing smoke are of no concern, just check that oil from time to time

It must be your afterburner exhaust smoke just playin, i really wouldnt really worry about that, as stated just check the oil every now and then.

Maybe it was the Vtech phone stuck in the exhaust that was smoking?

If you normally dont get into Vtec that often, it will smoke....its basically carbon blowing out of your exhaust. I have a friend with a 'lude who usually drives low RPMs....when he hits Vtec, he has dark smoke shooting out of the tailpipes.

What color? black = ok, just rich.

Blue = oil. Keep checking oil level and get compression check. If it's ok, then forget it. If not, then a leakdown test is in order.
