Yeah I am planning on doing that, once I get that off hopefully I can see whats going on, I am just trying to avoid taking my softtop off.

Have you read through this thread? I had a very similar leak although not quite as severe.

For me the leak was due to a degradation of the seals around the bolt holes where the soft top bolts to the back rail. Some silicone sealant worked for me, although maybe there is a cleaner solution.

I had the same issue and found that the actual vent was where you siliconed was leaking along the edge. If you took it off you would notice it has a foam like seal. I was too lazy to take off the back bumper and was able to seal it up using dynamat along the whole edge where the plastic meets the metal from the inside. I also noticed that over time the rear trunk seal compresses. Re grease the seal with shunitsu grease(i think thats what its called) I adjusted the trunk latch to close tighter. I have to close the trunk a little harder but well worth the effort. I live in south florida and at any given day get 6-8" of rain with tropical storm like weather on a frequent basis.

No leaks after i sealed it up and adjusted the trunk latch.

good luck
