Default Weight of stock seats?

I have an 07 and was curious as to how much each seat weighs?

Would probably be good reference for every one if we could get a list for all S years stock seat weights.

If you search around on here you will find exactly that. Can't remember the link but try searching and you will find it.

I never weighed my AP1 seats, but they're a lot heavier than Elise seats.

I can get the Elise seats at a bargain price, and was going to put a set in the S2000 for the weight savings, but the darn things are so hard and uncomfortable (for me at least) that I ultimately decided against it. The stock seats are pretty heavy, but I really like 'em.

I found a post mentioning stock seats weigh 12.5kg which translate to about 27.5 lbs. Posted before 06-07 came into prduction, and I believe they weigh a bit more now. any confirmation?

if I had to guess with the added materials and weight sensor to the 07's...they probably weigh about 30lbs each!

Hv,

I have both AP1 (2003) seats and AP2 V2 (2006) seats, the driver's weight the same but the passenger AP2 V2 weights A LOT more due to the sensors. I would say and easy 10 lbs more.

Becareful about taking out your passenger seat as you will need to have the weight sensors recalibrated by Honda ...

I also have a set of Bride Stradias CF now and they are not much lighter than the driver's seat.
