A weird A/c Problem
ok so this morning i turned my car on everything was cool...waiting till the car was warm i then turned the a/c on...then everything was not cool.
My car started shaking a little and had a horrible noise comming from the engine bay! So i turned the a/c off and the noise went away! Cool! So i tried again; i did this over and over for a bit and then decided that i would leave it on and see if the noise would increase or diminish over time. ....
Needless to say the sound diminished when i heard a pop and a hissing noise! I pulled over popped the hood and couldnt see anything!? I checked the reciever/dryer and that was cool as well!?!? there are no loose fitting lines and or hoses that i can see from the top of the motor.
The car runs smooth and fine the only thing is the a/c doesnt blow cold air so im about 99.99% sure its the a/c. but what the hell is it? has this happend to anyone before? i searched and found a bunch of people with a/c issues but nothing like this?
any info would help me so i know where to look when i get home and diagnose the problemo. car is a 2000 s2k
thanks guys i appreciate it.

probably blew the pressure valve and it released all your refriagerant. if you don't know how to do it, then I wouldn't recommend anything less than a dealer or good a/c shop
is there anywhere i can check to verify that its that and nothing more,? i just dont want to get the run around when i bring it to a shop.
thanks
