Weird humming sound
Hello, everyone.
I'm almost done breaking in my S2000, and I noticed some weird humming sound coming from the rear end when turning.
This happens when I'm in 1st gear and turning really slow w/ almost fully locked steering wheel.
The sound is a low humming sound, like a.. hungry-dog-asking-for-food... kinda sound.
Any ideas? Am I overreacting?
Maybe I care too much about my S.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks guys.
Dan

If the car is just about done being broken in, I would say not to worry as much as you think. Could just be tire tread or something simple and normal. If it gets worse or gets to a point where you are getting bugged by it, take it to the dealer!
good luck

Thanks for the reply.
It doesn't make any sense, but it somewhat felt like the rear tires were rubbing against the fender.
Yeah, I guess I'll take it to the dealer when the problem gets more serious.
Thanks.
