Default Weird sound on start up

I have this high pitch winding noise upon start up that lasts for like a second or so. It does not happen all the time, only when the car is cold I've noticed. I just changed my engine serpentine belt and it still does it. Anyone know whats causing this?

Starter motor solenoid. Mine does it sometimes. I think I overheated mine when I tried to start mine repeatedly when I had an issue with bad spark plugs.
The noise it makes is a squeal.

Belts? Starter?(Only if you're holding in the start button). But I have the same sound and then the check engine light comes on with Misfires(1399,1301-04).But I was told that sound was the air pump, since you can hear it in the intake. So I guess I have to check it out.Can anyone else confirm that high pitch sound for a few seconds at start up is the Air Pump?Someone else said it was the clutch automatically adjusting.

I was just going post the same problem, it's only when I don't drive it for a few days. My noise sounds like a slight grind/squeal only a split second it makes the noise upon start up. So its the starter? It's going bad or just getting noisy?

Just the problem I was looking for. Mine does the same thing '04 95k miles. Always in the morning when starting it up cold. I've noticed if I hold the starter button in for about a second while starting i can get it to not make the squeel. Is this noise doing damage?

I've been getting the split second noise when starting up sometimes. Happens more often when the car has been sitting for a bit. I thought it was the starter motor but a reputable shop immediately pointed out the TCT going bad soon.
