weired compression numbers......
ok so as part of my Honda PACT technical training, I need to do a series of hands-on modules. One of which is a compression/leakdown testing, and since my car is a Honda, I get credit for performing it on my car...
So anyways the test were performed following proper service manual procedures and my numbers are as following....
1: 268
2: 265
3: 262
4: 269
Service manual states that up to spec is between 235-200ish..
Bought the car with 57*** miles and car was BONE stock other than a nice audio set up...
So what gives why am I getting such high numbers?leakdown says 8-9% so that was normal...
The car does pull exceptionally hard and I have been told I'm "blessed" by many people I know or raced...
It is a happy thing to be confused about but I am confused none of the less...
The compression gauge is also in perfect working order...

Could be the gauge reading high, Could be that the car had the head off at one point and had it decked, or could be a factory freak. The important thing is that they are all so close in compression. That is a healthy motor.
