There's a lot of choices for you to choose. Honda MTL, Syncromesh, Redline MTL/MT-90, or Royal purple are good fluids for you to try. I personally love the syncromesh, but the smoothness goes away quite quickly. Give them all a try and see what you like best. HTH.

what are you planning on doing with the car?
For street driving the OEM tranny fluid is great. I changed my diff fluid to amsoil, but I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I have a good amount of track miles and over 40k on the car and my diff has never been an issue, but I'm not sure if there is a co-relation or not.

For my tranny when I'm going to be at the track I run redline MT90. It seems perfectly suitable for the street. I would not use MTL for a car that spends most of its life on the street. It doesn't offer the cold protection you would want.

I think you should be fine. I have MT-90 in my tranny from my last track day. But, if you don't track your car the OEM stuff will be just as good, may offer better cold protection and is cheaper.

I STRONGLY recomend Redline Heavy Duty Shockproof for the rear differential if it will be put through any type of agressive launching / driving.
