Thumbs up What can be polished?

What all can be covered in our cars?

I know that you can do the valve cover and intake manifold but can you also do the throttle body and more?

I'm guessing you would do it like any other job just start sanding it down from 200 grit to 2000 grit paper right?

Thanks!

Pictures would help as well a lot!

I start with 120 grit, move up to 220 grit and finish off with 400 grit before buffing. I have gone finer on the sand paper but professionals don't go beyond 400 before buffing.

Now it's time to polish the tranny and engine block.

What items do you recommend for the buffing stage of all this?

Sideway: the bay looks super clean, I saw it in person before(at wendy's house) and it just keep on looking better.

I polished load of stuff too, pretty much all the aluminum piece could be polished pretty easily. for the VC, i stripe off the paint before sanding, i use 220 first and then 400 and then 1000, make sure you get the wetsand grade sandpaper not the wood shop special =P

I believe you just buy a chrome spark plug cover. Or paint it yourself.
