Hey everyone!
So I'm looking at buying an s2000 & the one I'm particularly interested in makes a clicking noise from the dash. That like the sound of the indicator only the indicator is not on. O.o
I've been told the chip or whatever you call it to the headlight washers has been pulled out. Now I've read no such thing, so if someone could help it would be appreciated.

 

It sounds like a relay of some sort. Was the chip pulled out for a reason? Perhaps it was malfunctioning before, which caused them to pull the chip out?

 

I notice that my windshield wipers make a click right before it engages, when its on a constant cycle. The relay may have been pulled, but the wiper could still be left in the "On" position.

 

It was raining the day I drove it. You could be right but what does that mean?

The chip was just taken out to stop the headlight washers from engaging when you accidently press the button. Could it be something else?

 

Not that I can think of; did the seller offer an explanation?

 

He said that he disconnected the headlight washer chip.
