Default What Engine number has the AP2

Hey fellas.
I knew that the AP2 has an F22. But does it stand at the engine?
Perhaps somebody could post a picture of his AP2 engine number?

I mean this here -->

I could not take a picture due to lighting, but I have F22C1 in the same place as you have it pictured.

not all ap2's have the 2.2L. some ap2's retained the original 2.0L motor - it depends on what country you live in.

out here in the states the ap2 comes with the 2.2l - where are you located?

whats your redline?

Somebody here has a US S2k ,an its definetly an AP2. But on his engine stands F20C2.
But if all AP2 has the F22 they should all have the same engine number?! (F22C1)

His flag is German so I'm guessing from Germany.

The block pictured is an F20 but the F20 and F22 blocks are the same. Difference is in the crank and rods.

no all ap2's have the 2.2.
in 2004 the body bits may have changed but if you still have the f20c then you still have an ap1

Incorrect as Telos pointed out.

Current AuDM S2000s have a VIN starting with AP2 but are 2.0L.
