I agree with the Honda MTF suggestion.

I hope Honda mtf is the way to go because only after like 2k miles with the friction modified it started to feel notchy again so just waiting to put the honda remix mtf in.

Personally, i thought the synchromesh made a world of difference....until about 20 minutes after I had it in. It was still notchy, not quite as before, however it was still noticeable enough to chap my a$$. It helped my 3rd gear "grind" alot however I still have to slow my shift down in the lower revs to keep it from being extremely notchy. At WOT I thought the synchromesh didn't change anything, however the Honda MTF wasn't giving me a problem at high revs, it was just "let her rip".

I've used them all. I swap tranny fluid at every oil change. I've used Redline, Amsoil, Honda, GM, and a few others. Amsoil is BY FAR the best. The same goes for their engine oil. GM is great for the fist 500 miles, then it breaks down and feels terrible. Amsoil is fantastic. I use only Amsoil fluids in my car now (save the diff, I use LE.)

*Amsoil is also the only one to be considered a direct replacement by Honda. It's certified safe for brass.

I get read alot of reviews about mixing redling mt90 and mtl a %50 mix and people have had great results, if my honda mtf doesn't work well I'm goning to try that route.

I've used Honda MTF and GM SFM, and the GM is a much smoother fluid imo. The Honda MTF is notchy in the cold , but even when warm, its still notchy. Not until it gets hot does it start to smooth out.

The GMSFM on the other hand is notchy when its cold out, but once the car is warmed up, it smooths out and is much smoother overall.

Either that, or my transmission is going on me...
