So like alot of unlucky S owners, my 12v accessory input came loose to the point it came out when taking out my phone charger. So I looked up the fix on s2ki and went at it.

Problem, whoever wrote up that post didnt say to take off the panel behind the PASSENGER seat. So at first I removed the panel behind the driver seat.

Behind my driver seat there is a wire with a clip on the end of it just sittin there. It has been bugging me since I saw it about what it is?

Any ideas???

 

Pretty sure it's a prewire for the defroster for the hardtop.

 

since you drive a 2001 its just a prewire for defroster
