I didn't realized that the JDM BBS wheels are each 4 lbs lighter than ours

you bet. My wife used to comment that the FD (rx-7) 16 inch rims on her Mazda 5 van were really responsive. they were close to 4 lbs lighter than the boat anchor 17 inch stock rims.

Yes - unsprung weight. When I raced dirt bikes, we measured the differences in ounces. And yes, it makes a huge difference in handling.

As with any car I own, I did a bunch of searching on wheel weights. Below are some relevant to the S2000. I believe they are all correct, but I have not verified any of them myself.

USDM AP1 front 16x6.5 17.5lbs
USDM AP1 rear 16x7.5 18.6lbs

JDM AP1 front 16x6.5 13.3lbs
JDM AP1 rear 16x7.5 14.3lbs

AP2 front 17x7 17.6lbs
AP2 rear 17x8.5 20.5lbs

Ap2V3 front 17x7 19.2lbs
Ap2V3 rear 17x8.5 21.4lbs

RPF1 bronze 17x7.5 15.1lbs
RPF1 bronze 17x8 16.0lbs

OZ Alleggerita HLT 17x7 14.6lbs
OZ Alleggerita HLT 17x8.5 15.8lbs

Desmond Rega M 16x7 11.9lbs
Desmond Rega M 16x8 12.9lbs
Desmond Rega M 17x9 16.0lbs

I have the OZ wheels. Very nice, but I'm still dreaming of a set of Regamasters...

I am interested in them. They are same size and offset as stock wheels right? How much do they weigh? Also are they al or mag? And finally if you were to sell them what would you need to get for them please?

I see you are from Port Huron. We used to pass through there on our way to fish in rice lake. The farms around there reminded me of the area in Northern Indiana when I was a kid. The farms are smaller and many still used the old barns that are mostly gone here now. Lovely country and lovely people.
