At how many miles each time?

If I recall correctly from the Owner's Manual, its 15,000 miles. Thats under the "severe" driving category.

I do every 15,000. Might as well do the clutch and tranny at the same time.

ya I have no problem doin that. Im so cautious when it comes to my pride & joy! I can use those white diff fluid bottles from ricks' right? I think I was told 2 or 3 bottles are needed correct?

as long as the diff fluid is has a GL5 rating. But then again many of the s2 owners here use LE607

Personally I would, and did, swap it out at 10k miles. After that I would suggest you adhere to the intervals outlined in the manual.
