Where is cylinder #4?

Default Where is cylinder #4?
Just wondering how the cylinders are numbered. Is #4 the front or near the firewall? And while I'm here, does anyone know if the exhaust valves are the one with O's, or B's on the bottom.

Cyl 1 is at the front of the motor and cyl 4 is at the back of the motor.

You guys are sooo helpful. I'll assume #1 is near the timing chain in the front, which is closest to the radiator. How I love this POS car.
