I recently placed my OEM exhaust back on the s2k.

now when I apply full throttle, there is a faint whistling noise coming from the exhaust. it usually happens during 4-6k and i feel like its coming from the exhaust. what could this noise be?

do you guys think that the bolts connecting my exhaust to the cat isnt on tight enough? are the rubber hangers making these noises? anyone with similiar problem?

More than likely, its possibly your intake. But if there was a leak from your exhaust it would sound like pure death. I would attempt to say your just not used to the sound...

You running a aftermarket or is it stock?

 

i had the same problem, since i work at honda one of the techs tryed cleaning out the throttle body and sound went away.. try it might work

Mine makes it too. Normal IMO.

 

is it more like a ringing sound, i get this between certian rpms, especially above 4k. but after a hard drive, it goes away. someone else posted something like this, had an 06, and when they put a test pipe on, it amplified it.
