Default Who has J's racing complete engine

My engine broken

This is a story.
I ask auto shop at SC to installing the coilovers.
I went shop to pick up my S2K.
Then he(shop engineer) has told me,when test drived your S2K engine broken.
He told me it sounds like the crank is siezed. Unfortunately, this would mean a short block replacement.
What's happen,I'm not sure now.
They will check my engine next week.

Then I'm thiking about install J's complete engine for my S2K.
I contact JJ at J's racing Japan.
He told me,he sold 20 J's complete engines for U.S.A.

Wow!!! The shop blew up your engine!!!
I'm sorry, I forgot who the authorized J's Racing importer was for the U.S.
I believe it is Bulletproof, but someone would need to verify that for me...

20 engines? I never heard of one person in the US owning this engine. So I'd like to know who has them. Must be people who don't come on this board.

Oh yeah btw, we are authorized to sell J's products in the US.

Are the Js HP ratings at the crank or wheels???

I would think the crank, but then i would think Js could get more than 10 or 20 hp out of the 2.0L...

Those prices are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!

Jesus H Christ, if it cost me 7k US to replace the S2000 motor, I'd push the car in the ditch and toss the keys in the seat. Dude, take your car somewhere else and just get the motor rebuilt.

Don't get screwed twice!

I think some stock JDM F20C got 240hp at wheel.
I think J's HP ratings are at wheel.
They have a DAYNOJET.
But of course they use Japanse GAS.
I forgot Japanse gas octane number.

Their prices are more than fair for an S2000 motor. Have you priced out a stock replacement S2000 motor from Honda! !!!

Keep in mind those prices are for a COMPLETE motor not just a block or assembly. Secondly I'm sure the internals are top notch too!

I want to ask if the shop is paying for this? They seized your motor up while test driving it (most liekly ragging the shit out of it) so they should be liable for your damages. And why were they test driving it if its just for coilovers?
