Default Whoo whoo whoo sound when rolling? What is it?

Lately I've noticed a whoo whoo whoo sound when the car is moving. The rate of it seems to change with the speed of the car. You can really hear it when starting off from a stop or slowing down to a stop. I'm guessing it's maybe wheels or tires or something, but all seem ok. The rears were just recently balanced (past month) and I don't feel any vibration in the steering wheel. Just not sure what this is or could be. Any ideas? Anyone else have a similar sound? TIA, guys (and gals).

For a moment there I thought you might be talking about the police car that was chasing you.

Probly are the tires.

Were the rears replaced with new? OEM S02's???

Could be shody balance/tires.

Does it get worse with time? Could be a failing differential.

PWRMKR - The tires are S02's all around, just recently replaced. Althought the rears are getting pretty low.

Incubus - As far as getting worse with time, do you mean louder? I've only noticed it for the last few weeks, so I don't think enough time has passed for me to determine this. As far as balancing goes, is there is difference between a normal balance job and a static balance job? I had someone mention this to me once. When they add those little weights, to they do it on the static balancing as well. That is, if there is such a thing as a static balance. At any rate the rear wheels definitely have quite a few of these weights on them.
