Will 1lb make a difference w/ a flywheel?
i'm shopping for a flywheel. i'm torn because i want to put the comptech or the toda in the car. the comptech is cheeper, but the toda is lighter, but only by a pound. is the pound less that the toda offers really worth $100?
It depends where is the weight.
For the toda they removed weight at the right place ... Away from the center ! ( For a faster trottle responce )
I have the comptech one and if i had to do it again i would have buy the same but have it machined like the toda one to remove more weight on the external. ( sorry for my english !! )

speaking of flywheels...no I don't think that 1lb will make much of a difference but what do you guys think of the Fidanza flywheel......apparently there are three different sizes to choose from depending on the size of your clutch disc I believe. The reason I'm asking is because they are really cheap compared to the Toda ones and we all know about the saying where you get what you pay for. Any comments?
I belive the difference isnt in the weight, but in the material. Comptech is made like 90% of aftermarket flywheels....aluminum, while toda is made out of chromolly steel. I could be wrong though.
