Thumbs up Will A AP1 cluster fit on AP2

Just wondering if a AP1 cluster will fit a AP2 and everything else work. I know that the rpm will not go to 9k and other things Ap1 related.

I need to know if they hook up directly and the Gas,temp etc will work the same.

I just need a plain YES or NO.

Thanks!

Looks as if they have the same connections on the back so I'd walk out on limb and say yes.

They use a differant wairing harness and connectors. So fit it will. But you wil have to change the wire harness.

Remove the dash, swap harness. It is a lot of work, but hard no, I don't think so.

so if you swap the harness by removing the dash is it plug and play?

Are the harness connections INSIDE the car? or do you have to pull the harness through the firewall etc?
