Default Will an AP1 gearbox be compatible with an AP2 vehicle please?

Hey guys

I have a spare gearbox from a 2001 UK car. A chap with a 2007 UK car wants to buy the gearbox as a replacement for his car.

As far as I am aware the gearbox will fit his car. Can anyone confirm please?

Thanks

Yep, they'll swap. Gearing will be different, and he will need to take the rear yoke off his transmission and put it on yours. Be a good idea to transfer the sensors too.

It will be good a combo. You can stay longer in the f22 power band.

Please keep in mind that the AP1 does have a different gear ratio and the synchro's are better on the AP2's. The Output flange will need to be swapped with the AP2 to fit.
