Default Will removing the heat shiled cause any issues?

I have cleaned up my engine bay to the point where I just need a wire tuck and it will be really clean. I have no AC lines and a bunch of other stuff removed, I want to know if I remove the giant OEM heat shield will I run into any problems with the battery or fuse box? I don't track the car or really beat on it, just normal driving. I know the OEM manifold has a regular shield on it but will that be enough to keep the temps down?? I know people remove it with turbos so I am only assuming it would be fine if it can withstand a hot side of a turbo.
