Default wind noise on driver's side window with hardtop installed

I get quite a bit of wind noise on the driver's side window at highway speeds with the hardtop on. I think that the seals on the window, or the bottom of the hardtop are warped. I properly stored the hardtop this summer (bought the car in June), but only took notice when I put the top on last week.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I took the car into my dealer today and they spent 4.5 hrs on the car, taking the door assembly apart trying to figure out the problem. They were unsuccessful. They have left a report with Honda Accessories, and are awaiting a response. Until then, I guess I am stuck listening to a bit of wind noise.

Anyone who has any information or personal experience with this problem - let me know. I would like to know if their is a common problem with the hardtops and what actions other dealerships took to correct them.

Thanks in advance!

This may or may not be the same as your situation. I have a very slightl bit of wind noise on my driver's side also. It's so slight that I've decided to just leave it be. I did, however, look at it a bit closely and noticed that the passenger side seems a bit tighter up against the window when rolled up than the driver's side. My theory about a simple fix would be to have the hard top on the way it would be if you're driving with windows up, loosen all the bolts to the rear latch assemblies on both sides, undo the front latches, go to the passenger and give the top a bit of a push towards the driver's side to try and get the seal more snug with the raised window. If this works, re-tighten the rear latch bolts, secure the front latches and go for a spin.

Yep i can i say i have the same exact problem... i only experience the prob at highway speeds. lemme know if you guys find a fix that does not require taking the door aprart! although i think im gonna have to agree with rstark regarding the irregular seal on the passanger side.

I get a fair amount of wind noise when I drive on the highway with the top and windows down.

If you haven't already, check the tightness of your spare tire. Also, and I found out the hard way , check the latches on the soft top to see if they are closed (locked), one of mine wasn't and it was driving me crazy!

Left-rear could also mean that the plastic trim could have come loose. There are several "pins" that need to be pressed in to hold this trim piece securely.
