Default Windshield tape install?

Hi guys,
I have an 08 s2, but I really dig how the black windshield tape looks cause I dont have a hardtop and dont plan on getting one anytime soon lol, and I wish the 08s came with it. Ive searched and it seems no one wants to put it on, just take it off haha. Can you order this tape from honda? I went to the dealer and the parts guy had no idea what I was talking about. I was thinking maybe i could just get some vinyl cut up and put on? Does anyone know? Thanks alot!

Thought I was the only one who liked the tape after seeing threads about removing it.

Always liked my tape and thought those who were taking it off were making a big mistake.

not making a big mistake just looks better when you have a hard top but def looks funny if you have a soft top unless car is black lol ... bet yeah my friend who does vinyl for a living said you can easily just replace it with any vinyl

nice sig btw, Anyways, if you go to honda, theyre gonna charge you an arm and a leg to re apply the vynal, it is much cheaper and as good to just go to a local vynal shop to have it put on.
