Default Windshield wiper removal/install.

I just got a set of RainX wipers for the car. The instructions on them doesn't really tell you anything about removing or installing the stock wipers. Lol.

So...how do I remove the stock wipers? A guide with pictures would be nice if anyone has one.

I don't recall off the top of my head but it should be pretty apparent. I didn't use any directions or photos when I replaced mine.

I'll see if I can snap a photo...

Where did you buy the wipers? Many parts stores will install wipers for you when you buy them.

I went to a local autozone to buy blade refills and noticed that they are only carrying blade replacements. What a rip! Anyone else finding the same thing?

But relevant to the original question - there is a release tab you need to engage to slide off the original blades.

If you want cheap wiper insert refills buy them from a dealer. 6$ each usually, and they are direct fit to the OEM blades

You can buy just the rubber insert, and not replace the entire blade.
