Default Won't go in ANY gear

Getting in the car today, and the clutch seems to have alot of play and the catch is really small. Also it wont go into any gear at all when the car is on, car off it works. When I do try to the rpm's will dip down a little, and the car will actually inch forward. If I try reverse it will inch backwards. But wont go into gear!!
Its a 00' with 94k miles never had a problem with it. Is there any tips?

Check your clutch master cylinder for the fluid level.

Definitely air in the clutch fluid 100%. likely got low enough to suck air.

Was it black or dark?

I have a whole write up how to change it and bleed it...search around.

Dont bother trying to put it in gear till you get rid of that sloppy feeling clutch pedal.

Yeah it looked dark, should I tighten the clutch? Something with the master cylinder?

You don't need to do anything but bleed your clutch.

?????

no. change the fluid in the master. clean it out with paper towels till spotless, then fill it back up. Rapid pumps MIGHT bring the pedal back. Its hit or miss. Likely miss.

Then, because you have air in it, you will need to unbolt the slave from the transmission, point the bleeder straight up, and open it. Gravity will push the air right out, and fast. Close the bleeder right after u see the air come out. usually about 7-10 seconds.

This is what you need to do. Trust me

Don't mean to thread jack, but I have the same problem - I think. I was able to get it in gear, but there was a chatter once I got in gear. The chatter went away shortly and I was able to go through the gears rather smoothly (while parked). I then released the clutch completely, stepped on it again and now it wont go in gear. Is this the same problem Billman?
