I agree with this. How many miles u plan a year? U might still quite some use out of it.

Not a lot. I dont daily drive it. Sits in a garage if it rains or snows. Snows here 7-8 months out of the year. Maybe 5-10k per year id say. Only time ill beat on it is auto-x.

Yeah, just enjoy the car and keep the oil topped off (using the lowest reading side of the dip stick). If you start seeing lots of smoke or it seems down on power then do something. If you like autox in this car, then get it to the track, this car is made to be on a track. Maintain it, but don't baby it is how I roll. I have 140k on mine and it sees the track pretty regularly.

Keep in mind your dry compression was low, but if the scored wall theory is correct, which it may or may not be, then the oil making its way in may increase the compression. This won't effect power as much as oil consumption, but you can just stay on top of that and be great for many years, in fact if the theory is correct I don't see why it would get any worse.

Unless your thinking a full rebuild using the existing bottom end, I wouldn't even think about this small issue anymore beyond staying on top of the oil.

Thank you for the peace of mind. Should I try a wet comp check tomorrow and see what happens?

Once your cylinder wall/s or and rings are damaged/scored, you now have a imposed friction surface, so surface wear increases and this increases oil contamination, and with time that will increase wear on all internal parts eventually, its a downward spiral. Oil color and smell change will be an indication of this along with an increase in consumption.

OP If oil burn rate is at or better then 1 quart per 1000 miles and oil condition/color stays golden for a few thousand miles, then that's a good sign you have some life left in the motor. If oil turns black and gets fumey after just 500-1000 miles then its an indication of abnormal wear.

He could always just send a sample off to Blackstone. I still think that if it was just a one time deal caused by the plug tip that there is no real reason it would get drastically worse. Also I think there is just as good of a chance that the tip goofed up a valve or valve seat causing the low compression

Wear metals, it would give you some indication of abnormal cylinder wall/ring wear. Which like I said earlier, maybe I am wrong, but I don't know that a one time event like that plug tip would cause continued damage beyond the intial event. Maybe I am wrong though.
