It's some tight spaces under there so things can get confusing easily. I bet it's the same wires.

Rick: I would suggest that you give the picture above as the way of choice for most as it is the way I did it and as seen many others.

BTW: I am at ~19.75%. Though not running stock tires but rolling distance is supposed to be the same. GPS verified accurate.

Has anyone checked to see what the ECU thinks the speed is using an OBD-II scan tool after connecting the YB to C101?

I just installed my yellow box. I followed Modifry's instructions exactly and used the third wire as Turbo_pwr and Defender recommended. I got the same results as Slick Rick. No speed correction and the lights on the yellow box continued to flash even when moving. I even disconnected the yellow box thinking that if I disrupt the signal to the speedo it would stop working. But the speedo works fine even if the third wire is an open. I then tried the yellow box using the fourth wire and it worked perfectly. So it's the fourth wire that should be used - this wire is blue with a white stripe as opposed to the third wire which is white with a blue stripe. Please don't anyone take this post the wrong way. I greatly appreciate the information I got from this thread. I just wanted to post this information for future users, especially since there are a lot of us who recently purchased the 4.57 gears.

This occurred to me as well. I'm going to get together with a buddy and his handheld GPS to fine tune my yellow box. He also has an OBD-II scanner so we'll check this out.

I took mine out before installing the AEM EMS. Turns out the AEM EMS can't modify the speedo reading so I put it back in and after a few days it quit working. Long story short it was a poor power connection. It works fine with the AEM EMS now.
