yellow box setting
I installed 4.57r + the yellow box on MY05
The car is a lot of fun to drive now
... but anyways....
I'm still running stock rims and tires. Accoring to calculations I should be off by about 11.46%. Before dialing the correction factor on the yellow box, just to double check, I had a police car check my speed and it turned out that I was off by 6mph; I was going 34-35mph and the radar was showing 28-29mph, which would mean that my speedo is off by about 21.00%. Is this correct? Isn't it kind high
I also drove next to my brother and at his 47mph I was at 50mph, 3mph difference, which would mean I'm off by about 6.50% (and from the research i've done that's what most people with 4.57 and stock tires set their yb at) I am really confused
Am I being paranoid about the +20.00% or is this correct? Which correction factor should I stick with? Should I do the highway mile markers calibration
What do you guys think?
Thx

You need to do a mile marker calibration. If you have aftermarket rims that are a different diameter than stock, this could affect it. Also we dont know how much your speedo was off/on before you did the gearset. Same with your bro's car.
Do the mile marker calibration and that's gonna be your best bet.

Here is a thread that I set up for just this. It will give you an idea at what others have it set to.
Yellow Box Settings?, I'll show you mine, if you show me yours
