Default Yes another rough idle thread

I know the temps are wreaking havoc on the ECU's here in TX and my problem did start not long after we started hitting the high 90's every day.

I did the MAP WHACK and reset the ECU and have been driving it for 4 days. Whenever the car idles it shakes like a lap dancer, which my wife enjoys but it is bothering the heck out of me. It isn't about to stall and the RPMs stay at or just below 1k. Once moving it gives no indication of a problem but after reading as many threads as I could find nobody talked about the idle rattling their teeth.

My question... Does this still sound like the car is just adjusting or could there be more of a problem?

Have you done recently....

1. Spark plugs?
2. Intake Replacement?
3. Valve Adjustment?

Is your idle stable at least? Or does it bounce about when idling?
What year car? How many miles? Any CEL recently?

Could just need a replacment MAP sensor

I did have the top off of the filter box when this started, I have since replaced it and done the map whack and ECU reset.

no changes to plugs, intake (other than mentioned) or valves.
The car is bone stock.

The idle only bounces when the AC condensor kicks on, ticks up one light, otherwise it is stable, just shaky.

The car is MY01 with 36k. I have had no CEL's in the car.

Does it adjust after a second or two?

Does it only do this with the A/C on?

What year is your car?

If it only happens when the A/C kicks on it's because the A/C clutch kicks in to build pressure which puts a load on the drive belt. Then it will turn off after a couple of seconds.

Is it noisey or just wobbly?

If you run it without AC at all, does it still wobble?

It is just wobbly, shaking. The only noise associated with it is the interior rattling. With the hood open it sounds normal.

It does it with the AC off and worse (expected) with it on.

It does not adjust, it continues running rough as long as I let it idle. I have also been very careful not to blip the gas so I don't further confure the ECU.

It just started doing the shaking out of the clear blue sky one day or is there more to this story, i.e--recent mods, recent hard pulls or whatever? How many miles on the car? I read a couple of threads regarding this, most people seemed to think a valve adjusment would cure it, but id look to the easier stuff first...

it is an 01 with 36k on it. No hard pulls or mods. I am starting to think it is just the heat. I will give it a couple more days and if it doesn't clear up I will take it in to the shop.

Thanks everyone!
