I voted 10K miles but I would like to add that I prefer to do the very first one between 3000 to 5000 miles.

I'm rather lucky to have a friend who changed out mine once every 6 months, and my MTF was changed with my oil change. I believe I have the cleanest MTF and rear diff fluids you can find.

It wasn't my choice, but it was to keep tabs on any abnormal wear... especially metallic shiny fluid out of my diff (for which I'm glad it doesn't have). The funny thing is, I use the Honda MTF in the tranny and Royal Purple Synthetic in the diff and the diff fluid looked exactly the same as the new fluid... couldn't see 1 bit of grit anywhere.

If I wasn't as fortunate as I am, I would normally change it out every 10k or 1 year, whichever comes first.

Every 3000 at oil change. I do a lot of clutch drops and for 8.18 it is cheap insurance.
