Now why do you want to get me even more excited than I already am?

We need a "chomping at the bit" emoticon.

I bought a new beach ball yesterday.

Everybody tell my Jerry not to worry about Swine flu on the flights we'll take.

about the swine flu thing. My +1 is about that too. I told him if he's reallllly worried, that he can stay here and I'll stay away until I'm sure I'm not bringing it home. I understand his concerns since he has some other health issues that may complicate things for him, but I've already had the flu once this year and he's had a flu shot which MAY offer some protection. I'll just spray everything down with lysol and not kiss any contaminated folks. I'll also bring a little container of alcohol scrub along with me.

I just have to comment about the lack of personal hygiene on the part of some people. As the Center for Disease Control has warned the biggest issue is personal actions. Covering one's mouth and nose when sneezing with a disposable tissue or using one's sleeve not one's hand to cover their nose and mouth. The easiest way to transmit any virus is via the hands (as in handshakes or using the same serving utensils at a buffet). Then touching one's hands to one's face (Especially around ones eyes).

I for one am always amazed at the lack of hand washing that males practice when in a rest room. I can not speak for the female experience with this. But, would be interested to learn if most females sufficiently wash their hands (twenty seconds with soap and water, including washing between one's fingers) after a potty break?

I have followed these guidelines for years including washing my hands before I eat and (knock on wood) have not been sick for years. Go figure.
