^^^It's about time you put some miles on it, Ken! BTW, did it get touched by any rain drops on the trip? And if so, how severe was the damage?
Yeah, it got wet. I melted, but the car was fine.

Put on a little over 1200 miles for SF 11. Now my 01 is just over 54000 miles.

Wow! Such low miles! My '05 has 85,328 miles on it. It is my daily driver, but I like to take road trips in it as well. In September I will put well over 3000 miles on it as I will be driving from Atlanta to Keystone, SD and back. I'm not worried about resale value, as I have no plans to ever sell it. My plan is to enjoy the hell out of it

Btw, a friend of mine, who bought his '05 six months before I bought mine, has over 160,000 miles on his.

As those people that were on the "pre-drive" on Friday at SF11 know, my 03 turned 103,000 miles. I could not think of a better place to do it. The stretch of road that we were on at that point is a lot like "the Dragon"

Thanks to KGF Ken for such a great route.

I agree that Sam's car looks magnificent. But he really should get that "vacuum leak" fixed.

I am a nubbie to the S but I bought it to drive. Put it on the road at the end of April and have put 2500 miles on it since. Every sunny day and some after work. Last week end the care turned over 100k. Runs and looks great. I am having a blast.

I think I may be around 11K. Need to look. It's close to a garage queen at this point. We've been flying most places any distance away, mainly because of time constraints. I used to put miles on going to and from meets, but as most of you know, I haven't been to any meets in awhile. Now it's mostly local cruising around. We walk and take the subway a lot here, so the car is not needed much. I still have a blast driving it, though, and try to find some nice little roads when I get the chance. For instance, I'll probably drive down past Mount Vernon on Sat to meet the +1 and friends for dinner after his golf game. The GW Pkwy is a very pretty drive along the Potomac - not fast, but pretty!

Ooh, I miss that drive. I used to drive there early every Sunday morning when I lived up there. It was so nice driving through there while the sun was coming up.

Now that +1 s retired, I have a feeling that the miles will start to build. I will be missing Tomcatt and Fall Crawl, but I think will be doing more meets and mid-week trips to the shore.

And I am REALLY looking forward to actually putting 5-6K/yr on the car going forward. It was actually quite comfy on the rides down and back.

Now, what's is going on with Myrtle Beach, I need someplace else to drive.
Take the Cape May ferry to Lewes and visit us sometime. No mileage accumulated on the ferry ride.
