I just picked up the S from the dealer, oil change, and a very old seat belt recall (but that's a different story). As I was leaving the service writer commented on how pretty the car is. For reasons I can't explain, that prompted me to look at my watch and lo and behold it is 30 Oct., two days before the 20th anniversary of my purchasing the car from that dealer.

Wow, 20 years. When I went to look at the car, it was going to be my DD, but my wife convinced me to keep my CL, she said that this car was special, and you will probably want to keep it a very long time. Well, she was right. While I don't drive the car anywhere near as much as I should, seat time is still amazing.

I guess I'll keep it.

Nice...def keep it!! I would have about that amount of time owning an S (since 2001), but I'm on my second one. The car never gets old, even though we do.

I wish that I could have afforded my S 20 years ago. Twenty years ago I was out of work for over a year, so it was another 9 or 10 years before I could afford a used one. This coming April will be my 10 year anniversary And I hope to keep it for as long as possible.
