2015 Tomcatt Schedule and Notes

All of you have been on this drive before, but that also means you know I'm a little OC about making sure everyone knows what to expect and plans accordingly. So:

Friday evening :

Dinner is on your own. Gene is arranging a group: Friday Night Dinner
Gas up Friday evening. Don't make us wait for you Saturday morning.
Please check in with me sometime Friday evening
- $5 per car registration
- Get your magnet
- Sign the release form and make sure I have your current cell #, just in case.
Socializing in the hotel lounge. BYO everything.

Saturday:

Breakfast at the hotel
8:45am - Official Group Photo. I noticed that I don't have a group photo from every year. Can't let that happen again!
Be ready to leave by 9AM sharp. You should have:
- 1) Full gas tank. No refueling until after lunch.
- 2) Empty bladder. First bathroom break is 90 minutes away.
- 3) Handheld radio. Channel TBD. If you have a separate earpiece and mic, you'll find it easier to use while driving.
- 4) I'll have route directions for anyone that wants them.
- 5) Hat, sunscreen
3 Drive groups - see the Drive Groups Thread.
- About 90 minutes to the Miner's Memorial for a break.
- If we're all there at the same time, we'll get another group picture.
- After a short break, back up Rt. 555 to the Muddy Miser for lunch. You have 90 minutes.
- Leave by about 1:30pm in one big group - Sam's group leading, then mine, then the Moderate group.
- Gas up at the top of Rt. 26.
- Rt. 26 to Woodsfield - about an hour.
- Break in Woodsfield.
- Woodsfield to Marietta - 45 minutes.
We should arrive back at the hotel with time to wash up and relax just a bit before dinner.

Dinner Saturday:

6:30pm at the Galley Restaurant on 2nd Street. There's parking right in front of the restaurant, and the bank across the street.
Afterprom in the hotel lounge. (Or Rm 314 if anyone can find it!) BYOB. We'll provide some of the munchies.
