I can never forget. Jim and I were thinking and remembering where we were and what we were doing and how all things stopped for us that day. All our lives were forever changed by those events.

It is...there are ceremonies going on here, of course. Early this morning I watched the Pentagon (which I can see from my balcony) as they lowered a large flag on the side where the plane had crashed into it. It seems like only yesterday I was walking home from downtown across the Roosevelt Bridge seeing all the smoke rising from it.

There is a gorgeous picture of a rainbow coming out of the World Trade Center and going all across Manhattan, from last night's storms. Check it out.

We will never forget. We were visiting Lewes, DE on that awful day. Now we live here (retired) and every time I see the hotel where we stayed and watched the tragedy unfold I remember.

Just passed a large green on the Pacific Coast Highwsy near Malibu: There was an individual flag for each of the victims of 9/11. Cars were slowing as they drove past.

Definitely important to remember. I was watching a show last night about 9/10 and it was about people who had come into contact with the terrorists on the day before the attacks. I will watch something tonight to remember what a horrific event it was I hope it is the last one we ever have. Godwilling.

Have the History channel on in the background and can't change the channel as I feel like it would dishonorable to those lives lost.
