I thought the soil looked as if there were a fire that burned off the vegetation in the first picture. Not in the third though.

This will be our second house. We currently live in the first one we purchased in 1998. We have been holding out for some time moving to a larger/newer home thinking we may move to the NorthWest where the climate better suits us. The realization has finally dawned that we probably live in one of the best possible places for us economically even though we really don
