I bought a digital camera from them a couple of years ago. Be sure you know what you are paying for. They may try to hustle some extras that you dont need. Price was good. Shipped on time. No complaints.

Thats what i hear, i also read a post by someone who complained that after they took their order they called back a couple of days later to say that they were not sure of their order and wanted to know if they wanted to order anything else.

I've been tempted by Abe's among others, but when it comes to something like a digicam or expensive electronics, I like dealing with B&H and Crutchfield, to name a couple. If there's a problem or a return is needed, they really stand behind their products in a professional and courteous manner.

There are plenty of comments regarding Abe's of Maine at the well-respected photo.net web site and Reseller ratings site. They have mixed reviews about Abe's. Some of the reviewer's claim that Abe's offered them money to pull their negative reviews about the company, and Photo.net claimed that Abe's was trying to get people to write only positive reviews about their store. Hard to believe, but if true, somewhat sleazy.

B&H is one of the best online places I have used to buy photo and video equipment.

We bought our last camera though Electric Sam, best price and fast delivery. I don't know if they are still around, you may want to google them.

Bought a Nikon 5900 last year before Spring Fling from their website. Price was good, delivery was fast, no problems. Good luck on your purchase.

I have seen them mentioned on a couple of home theather boards with mixed reviews. They seemed to be fine as long as there are no issues.
I used http://www.helixphoto.com/home.html a couple of years back to get an underwater housing for my wife and they were really good. I have also abought from B&H with success.
