Default Active X settings?

Yesterday we did a trial run by placing our dog in a kennel for the day. The kennel had a Web Cam and we could watch her on the pc anytime during the day. Pretty neat.

In order to watch the Web Cam I had to change a number of Active X settings to enable or to prompt. Prior I was on all default settings (I think). After we brought her home I returned to the defaults because I kept being prompted everywhere I went.

Any recommendations on what's best or what reasonable? They list a half-dozen items under Active X in the Tools/Internet/Security/Custom listing.

I set the Internet zone to medium-high security defaults in IE7. You will get prompted a lot but it's relatively safe.

Been there, done that. I have downloaded Firefox at least a 12 times or more times in the past year alone. At one time I used it and like it but then they changed something. Now, every time I try to use it, I have to do a lengthy process (outlined on there site if you have the error problem I experienced). Doing the fix once..... no problem. But having to do it everytime there's a minor upgrade (which happens all the time for secuity upgrades, etc.), it gets to be totally frustrating and I've given up and gone back to IE. So Foxfire gets a
