Be warned. Its an addiction. Once you've had your car up on stands once, and once you've bought some tools you're hooked. Now you'll be looking for reasons to do it again and again.
There's no escape and no end to it.

Why don't Honda dealers warn people?

"That's the great thing about this car, it's perfect the way it is. You won't have to do a single modification..."
Actually, they were right... so what's my problem?

(already thinking about getting a titanium single exhaust and test pipe to swap in for track days)
BTW... love this exhaust!

It's really the perfect "Vintage" system. It adds plenty of bling, without being too obnoxious. The sound lets people know you're there, but in a polite way. The drone at idle that I'd mentioned happens only when the car is ice cold. Within a minute or two it was gone. There are no unpleasant sounds or side effects with the Fujitsubo. There are definitely lighter systems out there, and ones that provide more substantial HP gains. (This one can't be more than 2 or 3 HP, but there does seem to be a tad more low end torque)
Wait a minute... was I talking car stuff again??? OK, back to Geritol and politics...
^ It's not just Hondas, it's a disease. I bought a Jeep CJ-7 back in '92. By the time that I sold it a couple of months ago, I had replaced every single part in that truck including the engine, transmission, frame, body, and suspension.
I won't be doing the same with the S, but I have been eyeballing the Cobra kits.

I enjoy doing my own mechanical work too. Yesterday I measured the tread on my tires and then . . . TADA -- checked my oil and added a half quart. I'm really thrilled at my grease-monkey expertise. Today I just may check my tire pressure -- watch out Mr. Goodwrench, Valentine's on her way . . .

BTW: I can't see why I needed Bill's help... the instructions were very thorough:
(no, there wasn't an english version)
Thanks for all the kind words
Damn, that looks sweet!!!
I could be convinced to do something like that to mine (although the harder part would be convincing my +1 that the $$$ would be worth it).
I'll bet that polished SS would look reeeal nice under Silverstone...

If I were to do a mod to my S it would be in the way of the exhaust. Although the V-Tec side sounds pretty good the stock exhaust from Idle to V-Tec range sounds lame.It seems that removing the resonator, and having a piece welded in by a muffler shop is the low cost alternative to replacing either all or some of the Cat Back system. But unlike the Borla on our Ford "Exploder" the "bang" for the "buck" just does not seem to be there in terms of performance increases? :-(

$40.00 bucks?? Bill did you see that??? I guess we didn't too bad with the Iced Tea and lemon aid though

nice new box

it's a great idea to have some PB Blaster and some WD40 - and a jack / jack stands that will clear that big thing hiding inside my shirt

awesome idea to use the jack when removing the anchor called the oem exhust

shhhh don't tell anyone but Bill likes to whistle while he works

fished product
Bill plans to update his how to with the 50+ pics that were taken during the install

Yup, Steve and I are planning a whole series of mechanical how-tos. Were hoping to get a TV show of our own. The idea will be to show folks with no idea about mechanics how to work on their own car. Some ideas for the name include:
Straight Tools for the Queer Fools. (Steve and I show a flamming queen how to fix his car)
American Garage. (lots of scenes of me and Steve yelling at eachother)
Monster S2000 (Steve and I try to do mods, screw the job up, and then make up some lie about why the screwed up mod is good. "No, you want your supercharger to blow out instead of compress in. It keeps the area under your hood real clean.")
Whore my Ride (Like Pimp my Ride, but Steve and I just use the guy's car to drive around, pick up fast food, go to the junk yard, go drinking, and get sick in it.)
