Default Ahhh Spring - at last!

Well we are finally getting some color to the world.

Redbuds are budding out in pink and we have a light haze of green to some trees. IT'S ABOUT TIME!!

I guess it's also an appropriate color since it's almost Valentines day.

It isn't actually warm here yet, at least not consistently. The highs are usually in the high 50s to 70s, but it's a start.

Now if we could just get some more rain so the burn ban would be lifted and I could burn the rest of the debris from building the house and all the limbs I am going to be pruning soon.

Okay, what northerner is going to be the first to stangle this guy when we see him? Behind me, that is.

Poor little Ems! It wasn't that bad when I was up there last year.

Texas only has three seasons. Summer, still summer and Christmas!

Why do you do that to yourselves?

I lived up north for a while, one winter was all it took.

Shoot your summers aren't all that warm either.

I'll bet it feels real warm inside the Ice Hotel this year. Wish I could have seen the new one. Is the trunk on your little red car frozen shut? And is that poor Renee shoveling all that snow?

That's right bub, help your fellow Texan rub it in.

Wild, some of us actually like the snow (not me though) and the 4 seasons. And some actually die in the real heat. I'll probably come back to retire there though. These old bones can't take the cold like they used to.
