Default Alan Jackson World Record line dance

FWIIW: I am NOT a country music fan per se. But I ran across this Youtube video where he set a new world record for the world's longest line dance.

In 2010 I was in Nashville for an NSA conference and went to the Crazy Horse Saloon. The first thing that caught me off guard was the bar tender "Bernie". Even though he was voted the best bar tender in Nashville for two yeas running, he introduced himself as a singer/song writer not a bar tender.

The other thing that surprised me was the choreographed line dancing. As I grew up in NYC, it was a surprise to me that when a certain song came on everyone would line dance in a certain way, Such as in the video'

We love Alan Jackson. We saw him in concert in Philly. He was sick and could not perform that night so he returned, apologized and sang for an extra hour. We plan to visit Nashville next year. We are country music fans.

I think there are almost as many bartender/singer/songwriters in Nashville as there are bartender/actors in LA or bartender/writers in NYC.

@S2KRAY
Click the 3 dot symbol in the upper right, click share, click method you want to use. I usually just use "copy link" and it will put the URL link into your paste buffer. You can then paste that link wherever you like. The method might vary a bit as I browse in Chrome on an Android tablet but you will get the idea.

We hear Alan every so often on either Wille's roadhouse or No Shoes Radio. Both on Sirus.

Saw him in concert twice! I lived in his home-town of Newnan, GA, for 3 years at my first after-Army job. He was probably around 12 or 13 at that time.

It's a whole different world in Nashville, people like me would stick out like a sore thumb. If you don't come from there you probably won't understand much of it.

On a positive note I can't dance like most people dance, but people like me could line dance much easier, so I see the appeal in that. I wouldn't be opposed to line dancing. I don't have enough rhythm to dance the typical way, I would dance like Elaine on Seinfeld lol, not pretty.

Nothing against epileptics, but my dancing bears more similarity to an epileptic seizure than line dancing.
