There is an Ohio painter - Leslie Cope - who has a similar style and subject interest, is quite good in oils and watercolors, and a good bit cheaper. I don't know if he's still among us. I've seen some of Wyeth's work at antique auctions; I didn't realize his stature.

^ Apparantly your not alone, Wyeth should be spoken about in the same breath as Norman Rockwell.

Just read that a Japanese collector paid 40-50M bucks for little over 200 of his early paintings, that were stached by a female model of his from the early days.
